Waveguide pressurization systems require clean, dry, and deionized air to the waveguide chamber to reduce corrosion of the dielectric coating and reduce internal electrical arcing. An air compressor is the heart of the system and provides the necessary pressure differential to move ambient air through the desiccant dehydrator.
Oil-free scroll technology delivers clean and dry air while offering longer life and less maintenance than alternative compressor technologies. The positive displacement nature of a scroll design also allows for effective compression even at high altitudes.
