Fuel Cell Compressors and H2 Recirculation Pumps

In 1999 Air Squared designed the first scroll fuel cell compressor, the P32H58N2.25. Today, extensive development has led to a full line of low-pressure fuel cell compressors. More than any other pneumatic company, Air Squared has realized the potential of scroll technology to serve the industry, and continues to make fuel cell applications our number one market.

Air Squared is positioned as the leader in scroll compressor solutions for PEM type fuel cells and hydrogen and oxygen recirculation for SOFCs. The need of fuel cell applications for clean compressed air, without the impurities in oil, make oil-free scroll compressor solutions ideal. By early 2012, Air Squared will complete development on a series of hydrogen recirculation pumps designed specifically for fuel cell systems.
